5280 Line Dance Etiquette

1 - Never try to teach while the Instructor is teaching. Don't be tempted to stop during a dance to teach; especially if there is no room.

2 - Never come onto the dance floor carrying beverages.

3 - Never walk through a line of dancers to cross the floor - always walk around the floor or wait.

4 - No one is guaranteed a specific place on the floor. First come first serve.

5 - Remember the floor is for everyone. If the floor is crowded, take small steps; enjoy the company, but watch for collisions.

6 - If you should bump into someone, it is customary to apologize  whether it is your fault or not….

7 - Respect Everyone and their STYLE of Dance. We all dance to our own beat.

8 - Don’t interrupt someone while they are dancing. Concentration is real during Line Dance.

9 - If chatting, keep the volume low enough as to not disrupt the class. Please remember this it's everyone’s dance time.

10 - When dancing near beginners - be mindful and courteous. Re member everyone was once a beginner. If you know the

dance, do try to be helpful to newcomers.

11 - First learn the dance and then add your stank!

12 - Keep your head up, keep smiling and Let’s Line Dance.
